   FISHING FLATHEAD LAKE MONTANA:

Fishing on Flathead Lake, in Northwest Montana, like fishing on other large lakes can be difficult if you don't know where to go and how to fish it. We are sure you will have fun.

Beautiful Flathead Lake is crystal clear, 15 miles wide, 32 miles long, 120,320 acres and 386 ft deep with 168 miles of shoreline. Fed by the drainage of the Rocky Mountains and Glacier National Park, Flathead Lake is the largest natural lake west of the Mississippi. Surrounded by woods and beautiful estates, it is the home to osprey, eagles and abundant wildlife. Flathead Lake itself is full of Lake Trout (Mackinaw) and catching them is our specialty!

FISHING and the FLATHEAD VALLEY (GLACIER COUNTRY):

The Flathead Valley, in Northwest Montana, is referred to as "Glacier Country" because of its proximity to Glacier National Park. There are a multitude of outdoor activities, including some of the finest Lake Trout fishing in the Northwest Rocky Mountains. As a testimony to Shorty's fishing abilities, 40%-60% of our customers are residents who have been fishing with us before.

Tour Flathead Lake, Wild Horse Island, view homes, take photos, moonlight cruises, or water taxi to restaurants in our custom 28' x 10' boat.
